ABC News' Michael Falcone reports:

The pro-Romney Super PAC, Restore Our Future, is spending heavily in Michigan and Arizona - states that hold primaries on Feb. 28.

But here's a sign that the group, which has already spent millions to support Romney's candidacy and tear down his opponents, is prepared to provide a firewall for him over the long haul.

They're already buying up television advertising time in at least two post-Super Tuesday states: Mississippi and Alabama.

Both of those states do not hold their nominating contests until March 13. There are 15 states and three U.S. territories that hold primaries or caucuses before then.

According to a source tracking media buys, Restore our Future is spending roughly $93,000 to advertise on broadcast stations in Mississippi and nearly $45,000 to air ads in Alabama. The super PAC is concentrating on the Montgomery and Mobile media markets in Alabama and on Jackson and Biloxi in Mississippi. So far, the PAC has purchased air time from this Wednesday through Feb. 20.

Planning ahead has been a hallmark of Restore Our Future's strategy.

The group has been on the air in Michigan and Arizona since Jan. 24 - a full five weeks before the those primaries - and has already spent more than $850,000 in Romney's home state and bought close to $200,000 of airtime in Arizona.

The group has also reserved television time in several Super Tuesday states, including Georgia, Ohio, Oklahoma and Tennessee with the heaviest spending coming in Ohio and Georgia - the states with the most delegates at stake on Mar. 6.
