Some tweeters might #FearTheVest, but Rick Santorum has embraced the online frenzy over his now-famous wardrobe  choice.

Santorum is using his sweater vests ' popularity to raise some campaign cash.

"Donate $100 or more to Rick's campaign between now and January 11, and we will send your very own official Rick Santorum For President sweater vest," reads the donation page of his website.

The specially monogrammed vests, emblazoned with the Santorum for President logo, recently made their debut on the campaign trail after Santorum's sweater-vest trend spawned a Twitter account (@FearRicksVest), Facebook page and Twitter hashtag (#FearTheVest). Not only was the candidate clad in the sleeveless sweaters, but his campaign staff donned the promotional product as well.

The supporters can pick up Santorum's signature sweater, which the campaign website describes as "100% cotton, made in the USA, comes in grey."

"Don't let sleeves slow you down - donate today!" reads the online plea.

But despite the $100 donation, Santorum sweater vest fans won't be snagging these bad boys in time for early-primary voting. Because "demand has been extremely high for this item," the site says donors will have to wait  "4-6 weeks for delivery."  And that's barely in time for Super Tuesday March 6.
