By the time all votes are cast in Iowa, the Republicans running for president will have held more than 1,000 events covering an estimated 23,000 miles.   Add to that the thousands of miles covered in New Hampshire, South Carolina and beyond- and it's easy to see how the job of covering them is monumental.
