Senate Judiciary to Hold Hearings on Cameras in Court on Tuesday

In the wake of requests to the Supreme Court to televise the nearly 5 ½ hours of health care arguments this spring, the Senate Judiciary Committee will hold a hearing on the issue Tuesday.

The hearing entitled, “Access to the Court: Televising the Supreme Court” will begin at 10 a.m .and will feature former senator Arlen Specter who pushed repeatedly for televised hearings when he was in the Senate.

Two well known Supreme Court advocates and two judges will also testify.
