Paul Ryan's Mock Moderator Praises Real Moderator

Kerry Healey, a former Mass. lieutenant governor and Paul Ryan's mock debate moderator, had praise for the debate's real moderator, ABC's Martha Raddatz, who she said would help shine the spotlight on foreign policy at tonight's debate.

"The thing that I find interesting about Martha Raddatz is her deep experience with foreign policy," Healey said during the ABC News/Yahoo News Debate livestream show. "Were in a situation now… where the foreign policy of the Obama administration seems to be unraveling."

Tune in to ABCNews.com on Thursday for livestreaming coverage of the 2012 Vice Presidential Debate moderated by ABC's Martha Raddatz in Danville, Ky. Coverage kicks off with ABC News' live preview show at noon, and full debate coverage begins at 8 p.m.

Healey also joined the chorus of Republicans setting high expectations for Vice President Biden's debate performance.

"I think everyone knows that Vice President Biden is a very experienced debater," said Healey. "Since 2008 he's done 14 either vice presidential- or presidential-level debates. He has had 40 years in politics so he's a master debater."

She added, however, that Ryan is himself pretty confident about his facts ahead of their showdown in Kentucky on Thursday night.

"He knows what he thinks and he's very willing to share it," Healey said. "And he's excited about the ideas that the Romney-Ryan ticket is putting forward."
