ABC Radio Announces Five Special Shows for Labor Day Weekend Programming

— -- As summer 2016 comes to its unofficial close, ABC Radio announces two exciting Labor Day weekend music specials, San Francisco Celebration and The Greatest Modern Country Duets,  as well as, three one-hour news/talk specials ABC News Radios Powerhouse Politics: 5 Things to Know, Back to School Survival Guide, and ABC Radio's 10% Happier with Dan Harris.

ABC Radio is teaming up with Carlos Santana, the Doobie Brothers, Journey and Steve Miller to honor the remarkable rock and roll the Bay Area has produced over the years in the two-hour special, San Francisco Celebration. The special will include all-new interviews with the artists and their classic hits.

In the special The Greatest Modern Country Duets, Lady Antebellums Hillary Scott and her mother, country singer  Linda Davis, take a look at some of the all-time great country duets.  The three- hour program will feature duets from Keith Urban, Miranda Lambert, Brad Paisley, Kenny Chesney, Tim McGraw, Jason Aldean and Dierks Bentley as well as Lindas Grammy-winning duet with Reba McEntire, Does He Love You. Hillary and Linda will also share cuts from the entire Davis familys new album Love Remains. 

ABC Radios Brad Mielke examines the campaign trail past, present and future in ABC News Radios Powerhouse Politics: 5 Things to Know. In Back to School Survival Guide, ABC Radio's Alex Stone provides listeners with tips on everything from budgeting for college to the latest fashion trends. Lastly, Nightline co-anchor Dan Harris explores how to attain inner peace and clarity in ABC Radio's 10% Happier with Dan Harris.
