On August 24, 2014, ABC News' "This Week with George Stephanopoulos" stood as No. 1 public affairs program on Sunday in Adults 25-54 (857,000), according to Nielsen Media Research. "This Week" has ranked No. 1 in the key adult news demo for the last 4 weeks and in 11 of the last 13 .

"This Week" beat NBC's "Meet the Press" by 369,000 Total Viewers and by 145,000 Adults 25-54, leading the NBC program in overall viewers for the last 9 weeks and in 8 of the last 9 in the key adult news demo.

"This Week" improved on the year-ago Sunday by double-digits in Total Viewers (+13%) and Adults 25-54 (+14%) - 2.491 million and 749,000, respectively on 8/25/13. The ABC public affairs program has turned in year-to-year improvement in both measures in 8 of the last 9 weeks.

Season to date, " This Week" is up by double-digits in Total Viewers (+14%) and Adults 25-54 (+16%) versus its year-ago season averages. "This Week" is delivering its strongest performance in 5 years - since the 2008-09 season.
