Republican Lawmakers Mock Eric Holder on His Way Out

The GOP “good riddance” tweets highlight rocky relationship with Holder.

— -- It's fair to say the GOP hasn't always seen eye to eye with Attorney General Eric Holder.

After the announcement today that Holder will resign from his position, some Republican lawmakers took to Twitter to offer their "heartfelt" farewells.

One of Holder's most notable adversaries, U.S. Rep. Darrell Issa, R-Calif., also fired off a scathing series of Tweets against the resigning Attorney General.

Others were just as critical.

But not all Republicans were celebratory in their Twitter remarks.
