An Olympic Photo-Fest at the White House

A little over a month after the Olympic closing ceremonies in Sochi, Russia, Team USA jumped - literally - at the chance to snap a few selfies at the White House today.

Luger Matt Mortensen tweeted out a photo of the U.S. ladies luge team pre-jump, with the iconic South Lawn fountain and Washington Monument in the background.

The women's hockey team also snapped a selfie on the South Lawn.

So did skiers Bryan Fletcher and Jessica Jerome.

Slopestyle snowboarder Sage Kotsensburg and skiers Mikaela Shiffrin and Stephanie Jallen struck a sassy pose at Press Secretary Jay Carney's usual post in the press briefing room:

Kotensburg, who compared the day to "a big family reunion," said he was initially wary of posting a selfie. "I don't know if I can one-up David Ortiz," Kotensburg said of the Boston Red Sox slugger who took a selfie with the president at the White House this week. "That was pretty heavy a couple days ago … I don't know what I'm going to say… I don't think I'd say, 'what's up dog?'" he said. The athletes from the women's ski team chose a less-conventional location for their pic: a White House bathroom.

No lux spread for these athletes. Luger Aidan Kelly tweeted out a photo of the athletes eating a bag lunch on the floor:

The athletes with President Obama Thursday afternoon.
