John Kasich: 'We Have to Win' Ohio
GOP presidential candidate and Ohio governor said he feels good about race.
— -- Ohio Gov. John Kasich said he has to win and expects to do well in his home state of Ohio among the Republican primaries today, adding he'll also do well in other states.
"You'll see tonight. We're going to win Ohio," Kasich said in an interview on “Good Morning America.”
“We have to win.”
He added: "We're going to do better in Illinois that anybody thinks."
The GOP presidential candidate also said it has been troubling to see the violence at some of his rival candidate's events.
"It's disgraceful, frankly, " Kasich said of the Donald Trump rallies. "I mean, we're not a country that spends its time slugging each other in the aisles or where the people who want to lead the country are insulting every group that he faces."
Kasich will be campaigning in Westerville and Berea, Ohio, leading up to the primary results tonight.
